Dogs have a keen sense of smell, and they are able to sniff out most anything they are trained to.  But sniffing out diabetes?  A new study has been published about the dogs keen sense of smell in detecting diabetes.  It is unclear as to what exact substance they are smelling, but it may be something in a patient's breath that signifies a low blood sugar episode.  To read more about diabetes and how it affectes your feet, click here.  To read more about how dogs are sniffing out diabetes, click here.
