Soaking your feet seems to some people to be very therapeutic. Epsom salt soaks can make tired feet feel better, but soaking is not for everyone and everything.
We advise AGAINST soaking if you are a diabetic or have history of open sores on your feet. We also advise against it if you have a lack of sensation in your feet. Water can easily be too hot and if sensation is lacking this can cause burns which are a whole different world of trouble.
We recommend soaking in some instances of ingrown nails, as it can soothe the corner and in some instances assist with the corner healing. In these cases we recommend use of luke warm water with epsom salts or gentle dish soap such as Dawn.
