Yes, there is a right way to ice your foot!  It is important to keep these pointers in mind:

-We recommend 10-15 minutes on, 45 minutes off 2-3 times a day

-Never apply the ice directly to the skin- you can cause frostbite!  Place a barrier such as a towel or sock between your skin and the ice.

-If you have a bandage on your foot and the ice can't directly reach the injured area, apply ice to the ankle as it will cool the blood going to the affected area
