Many people come into the office thinking they have a wart or will even stop me on a run and ask "How do I know if this thing on my foot is a wart?".
Truth is, you don't!  It is very common for someone to think they have a wart and really it's a callus or even can be a piece of glass or sometimes even a sliver.

The wart has a very unique appearance once the outer layer of skin has been trimmed down. (No it doesn't hurt! the top layer of skin has no nerves to feel.) When you come in the office we are very gentle and will be able to tell you EXACTLY what it is. No guessing games!  Whatever the problem, our doctors at PPFAC will get you on the right path.
