If you are a basketball fan, you know that KD, Kevin Durrant, is out for 8 weeks due to a foot fracture. This is not just any fracture, but in specific, he has a Jone's fracture.

This fracture is notorious for taking a long time to heal because of the location of the fracture. It is a fracture of the long bone, or metatarsal, that connects to the pinky toe. This fracture does not only happen in athletes, but can happen due to trauma or as simple as the slip of the foot off a curb. If you feel that you have an injury that you're worried may be a fracture, call our office.
