Q Could I have more than 1 neuroma?
Anything is possible! If you experience symptoms and pain from a neuroma between 2 toes on the right foot and the same symptoms are present between the same 2 toes on the left foot, it may be your anatomy and symmetry that has dictated your neuroma becoming painful. That being said, having a neuroma in 3 separate locations on both feet is not very likely. If nerve pain spans further across the ball of the foot, the compressed nerve may be higher up, such as in your ankle – a condition called tarsal tunnel.
