One runner is bringing a class action lawsuit against Vibram USA, the makers of the famous Five Fingers running shoes
The minimalist running craze hit an all time high with record numbers of Vibram Five Finger minimalist running shoes and their imitators made millions touting these shoes would strengthen your muscles and decrease your injuries. But now it has hit a new low when a runner is bringing a lawsuit against the company stating that these claims are false with no true research behind the claims. The company stands by their product, and admits no wrong doing. The runner states she was taken advantage of with false promises.
The point is that there is no magic shoe that will across the board cure all ailments, strengthen your muscles, and decrease your injuries. There are many different shoe types for every type of foot.
